I did not teach this lesson, but after looking at it I would update the activity sheets with some color photos and provide them online for my students. I think the discussion would be fun and would link back to Unit 1. To extend this lesson, I would have students investigate Isaac Asimov’s laws as well as find a video or story about a robot that they found interesting and write about whether they think the robot follows the laws. I don’t have time to teach this unit, but I think adding this lesson to my curriculum would be great just to get students interested in robots and let them know about other opportunities in my school to work with robots.
I didn’t teach this lesson either but just like you stated… it looks fun. I thought about using this unit after school with my Girls Who Code group.
