In the unit, (U7L3B9b&c) we are asking the students to simplify the code.
Could we add some better reasoning for the simplification as well as a bubble that focuses on the role of DRY and simplifying code?
I think it would help most kiddos with the justification for simplification as well as a way for them to gain a deeper understanding of the process. In this case, simplifying the code is a tactic but it does not show how it makes the code faster or easier to comprehend.
