Hello! My 3rd-5th grade students will be starting code.org this year. In the past they have had a little expereince with coding through hour of code and some other small games. Where should I start them since they have never gone through the course before? I didnt know if starting them at Course A was a good idea or not. Thank you!
Hi! Any course can be used as an entry point, but A-F are also aligned to grades K-5. Courses A and B are specially designed for pre-readers. Iād suggest either starting each grade with the associated course (3rd-D, 4th-E, 5th-F) or to simplify using the lowest course for all students (This would simplify your planning since you have a mix of grades.).
