I need some videos regarding this first lesson how to use lego blocks
The purpose of the LEGOs is for students to create an ‘object’ and then write out the step by step instructions for creating it. The instructions are then given to another group so they can try to build the object from only the written instructions. You could use classroom or craft supplies or the drawing example instead of LEGOs. I had students write the instructions for a tooth brushing robot. The lesson goal is develop an understanding of why programming languages are needed.
