When my student presses the right arrow and goes through the tubes his score goes up. However, if he presses the left arrow then goes back right to go through a tube the score stops changing.
I’m a little confused because I only see the “up” key programmed to move the bird up, but I don’t see any commands other than the up key. When I tried right and left arrow, I didn’t get any response. I can see that when the bird collides with one of the tubes, it gets “pushed” to the left, eventually off the screen, but I don’t see anything programmed to allow it to move right or to allow it to recover from hitting the tube.
Let me know if I’m missing anything. The score seems to be working on the rare occasion that I actually get the bird through the gap, but I don’t see a way to get it back through.
