Can students see their partner's code with pair programming?

My students are working in pairs on the Unit 4 project. But the student who doesn’t have the code on their account cannot see/edit the code.

If this isn’t possible, does anyone have any suggestions for how students can share their code so they can work separately but together on their app if necessary?

Pair Programming does not work the way most people expect/want. You can learn about pair programming here.

To share the code screens etc. the students should click the Share link at the top of the screen and send the link to the other person. That person can then copy the code or click remix and import screens, etc.

I’ve taught this course for a while and micromanage the paired programming codeDOTorg problem differently each year. Being pretty involved this year (small class, constantly over their shoulder) I see thatit is REALLY confusing. Really CONFUSING. Could we get a new one-pager on how to use (OR NOT) use paired programming modality on thiss website, or, ideally, an improved mechanism. If possible. Right now, it seems there is no benefit to T or S and one can pair program in spirit without selecting this option in the interface. Thank you for any easily digestible advice.
