The student instructions says that collaboration is not allowed during the creation of the video or when answering the written responses. What about students trying each others apps and making recommendations? Is that allowed? If so, how is best to set that up?

That is allowed. Getting peer feedback is a useful step in the development process.
Would I enable sharing in the “Manage Students” section of the class setup? If not, how is best to allow that while doing class remotely?
@dunnc Activating Peer Programming in the “Manage Students” section is one of the ways to have them work together remotely. If your Online Learning system that your school is using (for example TEAMS) allows for collaboration, you could allow them to talk there also.
