Are there any guidelines regarding the programs students can use for their program? Is game maker acceptable? One of my students has asked to use this.
As long as the program falls within the requirements for the Create PT.
The only real limitation on programming languages is — the student has to be able to get to their original code to use for the written response i.e. code they wrote not APIs or stuff from libraries/websites/forums, etc. The code needs sufficient complexity to meet the requirements in the rubric and guidelines.
