8th Grade Science has become my ‘specialty’ over the past 18 years. I started in Elementary school and moved to Junior High after 4 years so I could coach. Since then I have taught AVID and PE, but mostly 7th and 8th grade science.

I have since earned my masters degree in Educational Technology and my private pilot’s license. I am worried about implementing the NGSS science standards in a California Middle School, but I am hoping that integrating computer science into my classroom will help me make the transition.
