Question: Next year I’m going to have 5 sections of 30 kids for CS Foundations class in high school. Can I get away with purchasing 30 micrbo:bits or so and just reuse them hour after hour?
Hi @bjennings1,
Yes. The micro:bit code runs from the code in App Lab so students would just share the micro:bit from period to period. There is nothing saved to the micro:bit. And even if there was (like when using MakeCode), the students should be able to re-download their project to the micro:bit.
I will say if you are not partnering up and each student has their own micro:bit, you may want to purchase a few extras in case one isn’t fully working. I’ve had the odd board that one LED was out or a pin wasn’t working etc. If you are partnering up, this isn’t an issue.
Good luck!
