How to download student progress?

Dear colleagues,
Apparently, Code.org made some slight changes in their dashboard HTML code, so the current script stopped working . The updated version will be uploaded soon, stay tuned… :grinning:

8.5 years on and still no export - astounding! There’s an improved on-screen view, that handles wide screens better, but STILL no CSV export for teachers. Creating a CSV export is next to zero effort (no formatting, just dump the fields from the database, next to no testing too) whilst improving the reporting system must’ve taken a bunch of time and testing.

Progress is a great way of assessing progress - and being able to pull a csv feed into a spreadsheet lets ME review & understand MY students progress the way I want to. I do this with many other online sites my students use, as I’m sure many other teachers do too. Amongst many other things, I can create individualised targets on a per-student basis and see how the student is PROGRESSING towards their target.

So please, put an afternoon’s work into it, give teachers the export option and let THEM decide how they use it to best teach their students?

Can’t agree more!

On the other note, with every “improvement” they change the page layout which usually breaks our Code.org Student Progress Scraper (GitHub - ADA-SITE/code-org-student-progress-scraper: Student Progress Scraper for Code.org Courses).
