Juicemindn quizzes

Hello! Will there be juicemind quizzes for all the units?

@kmullis - Hi Kiva, thanks for posting your question. I wasn’t sure either, so I did some research. It looks like Juice Mind has quizzes for most of the unit (2 - 7). You can find them here.
Hope that helps answer your question.

To follow up about Juicemind quizzes, I thought I would share how I use them in my classroom. Most of the quizzes I add on as extra practice for students to use as they study and practice out of class or in class with extra time.

I have been clicking on the assign button and then have unchecked each of the options- I give no deadline, have no leaderboard and have no timer for the quizzes that I’m posting as extra practice in addition to the Code.org assignment. I add the link for students to take the quiz and the pin, and I can then see the emails of each student and how they did on the quiz.

I have done a few quizzes with students in class, similar to how kahoots works. For those I keep the leaderboard since students love it as we complete the quizzes in class.

Posting the quizzes with each assignment each day on my google classroom has given me extra resources to point students to when they are struggling, and when parents ask how their students can get more practice.

I give short (5-10 minutes) paper quizzes where I check for student’s understanding a few times each unit. I oftentimes will re-use or modify a check for understanding question from Code.org levels, or a question out of the Juicemind quiz as an Easter egg for the students who are completing them.

Let us know how you are using Juicemind quizzes in your classroom!

Best,
Lindsay
