Hello,
I am looking to see if there is a way that we can link some sort of solutions file/code for my students. I want to make sure that they can get answers to the practices that are provided. Since there are so many for each lesson I dont want to go in and make my own somehow. Any suggestions?
I’ve done this using a google doc that I then link off the Google Classroom post I have for the code.org assignment.

Hi Joe,
Thanks for your question. I don’t post the answers for the coding practice levels for my students. I expect my students to work on them during class time, and use the test button to be sure their work passing the tests. Many don’t completely finish them, and many also try to get tricky levels working outside of class, even though I don’t assign them as homework. I usually start the next class by opening some of the levels and inviting students to share how they solved them. If I have time I will try to click through and find students who solved the same level in different ways. I will then open that student’s work using the blue teacher tray. If no one was able to get one working I will either live code it with the class, or sometimes open the exemplar solution on the projector and talk though it.
I like that by not posting solutions, students will problem solve more, and often come up with ways to complete the task that are different from the teacher’s solution. I don’t put scores for the practice levels in the grade book, but I do sometimes include tasks similar to the practice levels as quiz problems.
I’m interested in hearing how others on the forum approach sharing answer keys with you students?
Best,
Lindsay
