Multiple Sections in one Class

Last semester my class (students are placed into the class, they don’t choose to take it) consisted of about 15 identified students and about 8 or 9 honors students. Proceeding at the pace that worked for the identified students created boredom in the other group. I ended up creating an A and B section within my code.org class so that I could unlock lessons for the faster group and allow them to move ahead while I worked more intensively with the other group. I would say this worked to some extent - since the honors students had less of my attention I had them work more together in pair programming and group work so they could give each other help and feedback.
