How many points do you typically give/weigh for students personal websites?
I’m sure that is going to vary from teacher to teacher depending on local grading policies, the amount of time spent on them, etc.
I typically assign 20 pts per day and I usually give points for different checkpoints so it’s not an all or nothing proposition. By the time they finish their personal sites, they may have already received 3 or 4 checkpoint grades, so the final is just the last checkpoint.
However, my 20 points might be someone else’s 5 points or 50 points. I think being consistent is key…
Any other suggestions from other teachers?
