Is there a way to check if a student “shared” a project with another student? Besides the obvious where the code is exactly the same. The receiver changed the name of the shared project so it no longer has “Remix” in the title.
I’m not aware of a way for that to be determined if they delete the Remix. I have had students forget to delete Remix and then I know, but that would be a great feature to request from support@code.org. I know it’s done in Scratch and another tool I use in my web development class, but I haven’t see it in code.org.
Of course, there is a work around even in those situations because they can always just copy and paste the code into a shared document and there’s not really a way to detect that.
