Relating the "Objects First" sequence to resources in AP Classroom

Is there a comprehensive guide that helps me find relevant AP classroom resources for each lesson in the “objects first” curriculum. I’m prepping four different courses this year, so my available time to “deep dive” into AP classroom to find resources for reteaching or reinforcement is limited .

Hi @tdk1nc ,

Thank you for posting your question to the forum! I know it’s nice to draw connections to AP Classroom especially if you are using Code.org’s object’s first curriculum which doesn’t line up with the college board’s lessons. This is a list of the standards that each lesson is aligned to. I found this link in the lesson plans at the top where it says Standards. Each individual lesson has the standards listed in the lesson plan.

Hopefully this is what you were looking for. If there is something else you need don’t hesitate to reach out!

I think he means something like what used to be in the Unit table of content pages that recommended a problem set for the students to do. They weren’t always exact, but they were a nice place to start– normally I would have to tell students to just skip like 1 or 2 problems that weren’t really covered in the curriculum.

Here’s a screen cap example from a previous version of code.org

Hey @timothy.lee ! Thank you for the clarification!

@tdk1nc I’m not seeing that resource in the 25/26 curriculum either :(. if the AP Classroom Practice isn’t put in the unit landing pages, my plan going forward is to go back to the old curriculum and see if I can use those. Here is a link to U1 of CSA from the 2024 curriculum.

Thanks @sam_stafford and @timothy.lee! That’s exactly what I’m looking for. I’m guessing the Powers that Be are rejiggering everything after the latest exam revision. In the mean time, I’ll use the previous year’s questions.
