Teaching Computers without a Computer

Does anyone have coding or other computer education activities that I can give to my Grade 4-6 learners to do in their register classrooms since they are not allowed to go to our Computer Centre.

I’m afraid I don’t have anything made up, but have you ever heard of “Robot Turtles”? It’s a boardgame for young kids that supposedly teaches CS-type thinking. You could give them some board layouts and ask them to write down instructions that use the fewest “moves” possible. You can even introduce functions if parts of the instructions repeat.

Ooooh! I even found something where you can make gameboards without needing to purchase the game!
