My students were a bit blown away with the use of lists in the apps after having completed the explore with lists in the previous lesson… seems like a big jump…
Do you know which areas they struggled with? My students had a lot of questions but did OK on lesson 2.
I decided to do the “if time allows” on the outfit picker and that’s where they looked a little bug-eyed. 
I feel like the band name app is easier to understand and maybe would have been better first… of course, I’m teaching remotely so it could be completely different if we weren’t remote!!! 
I agree the band maker app was easier to explain
