After reading the Overview and Purpose for this lesson, I thought it would be a good idea to emphasize these points by having the kids start with a coding exercise that calls upon prior knowledge. I posted this app on my website and asked them to duplicate it:
I embedded it, which gave me the option of hiding the code.
This app uses 3 screens and the setScreen() command. After students finished this, they then moved into the lesson, and then we discussed the differences between the two approaches (multiple screens vs. using the setProperty() command). If you have the time, it’s definitely worth it!
