My students are quite ready for some independent work. We have worked through about half of Unit 7, and I am tempted to give the rest of it to them to work on independently, in class, with a partner?). Does anyone have any experience doing this? Any thoughts on the idea?
Hi @apatel ,
I am always for collaborative projects that allow a little more creative problem solving! Would you have kids make a machine learning app? Without knowing much on your thoughts or age group, when I have kids make apps, I’ll have them do some research. I usually use Design Thinking and have students solve a user problem. I often then end the project with a gallery walk and have kids vote on multiple awards for the different apps. I also feel AI really helps with graphic organizers to help students structure the prep work.
If you want to share more information, I am sure others can share more ideas. Good luck!
