While that is the guidance from collegeboard, most students working with AppLab are going to accept user input. (Other inputs are viable, but not taught in the course.) This specifically needs to appear in their program in a student-developed section. For example, a student who imported a library that does all the interaction would not be meeting this requirement. The goal is to have a program that someone can interact with, and for the code that drives that portion of the program to be student-written.
