A student wants to blend colors when designing a sprite, but she couldn’t find a blend tool. Is there one?

No, I don’t believe there is a blend tool. I’m not exactly sure what your student is wanting to do but I do know when my students are wanting to put a little more detail into the sprite, they are able to get pretty precise with the pixel colors, change the size of the pen, and change the canvas size so the pixel density is pretty high. I always point to this scene a student of mine created a few years ago. The flying pig has much of the detail, shading, etc., I was referring to.
Again, not sure exactly what they are wanting to do with blending but hope those ideas are helpful.
