Hello! We’ve already started our school year and we started playing around with Unit 1 Lesson 8, but the AI Tutor isn’t visible to the students, only to me, the teacher. Help?
Additionally, there’s no level 3 for students to inquire and program the planning process.
Looks like a ham-handed add-in to check a box.

I was also caught off guard with the AI tutor not being in level 3 and not matching the slides! I can see how it is frustrating to find a lesson not fully worked out, I was excited to have my students try using AI in their code in an organized way, but then was a bit disappointed too. I send an email to support@code.org to alert the curriculum team that this lesson seemed to be unfinished. Another way you can give feedback to the team is using the rate this lesson button on the unit overview page.

I also notice that the only student handout available is the alternate version. I really like the idea of this lesson and will try and supplement with magicschool AI.

This lesson uses for loops which have not yet been introduced in the curriculum. This lesson has great potential but is not in the right place as far as content and seems to be lacking some details as others pointed out.
Ditto. I appreciated what they were going for, but just ended up skipping this lesson because it was a mess.
