In CSP Unit 1 Lesson 7 one of the challenges is to code “Whoa, this message sure has a lot of FORMATTING in it!” I"m not sure how to code the colors and formatting.

Similar to other lessons thus far, there is no right answer in this case. Anything that you or your students come up with that allows them to communicate with one another is correct! The focus here is on creating a clear shared protocol that conveys information successfully with bits. (The only reason a pattern of bits represents the letter “A” for example, is that everyone agreed to that system. ) In the case of colors and additional formatting, feel empowered to create an encoding that makes sense to you and that you can convey clearly.
