Okay I feel like I’ve dropped the ball. My AP students have just been doing Code.Org work. (They just completed Unit 5) and have started to do so practice videos & quizzes from college board. What explore/create task do they need to start working on??? Links, resources, anything would be helpful at this point.
1st time teaching AP
With the redesign of the curriculum, the Explore Performance Task has been dropped. A section has been added to the exam in it’s place. The Create Performance Task has been beefed up to include lists and functions with parameters. Unit 8 in the new curriculum is the Create PT. Page 189 of the CED has the description of the requirements and the prompts for the new Create PT. Look at the resources in Unit 8, Lesson 1 as a starting point.
