I am in the new version of CodeAI but I cannot find anywhere where I can give me students feedback on their lessons or ask them to re-do a level. Everytime I search for help it gives me old information, the interface is completing different. Help! How do I give feedback and mark the lesson as needing to be re-done?
I am having the same issue right now
I have loved Code.org for years, but I went back to the older version. The predictive AI autofilling html code was making it very difficult for my beginning students and not being able to give feedback or have them re-do a lesson is why I went back. If code.org only allows that new version in the future I will no longer use it, makes me sad to lose this great resource!
I didn’t even think of going back to a previous version, I will definitely be doing that!
Code.org I second this! PLEASE provide a Feedback tab in the new interface. Feedback is MORE IMPORTANT for teaching programming than having students in a modernized IDE.
100% agree. Students can ‘fake’ their way through lessons. I need a way to grade their progress. I used to send lessons back to students, which let me track their real progress. Feel like I may go back to the older version myself. Students are also getting distracted with the auto-complete tags.
Absolutely, bring back the teacher feedback.
Thank you all for the feedback. I have submitted this page as a ticket request so the appropriate folks see it.
In the future, please visit https://support.code.org/hc/en-us/requests/new to submit Feature Requests and/or Feedback. That’s the best way to make sure the CodeAI / Code.org folks see these requests. (We moderate the forum and do our best to funnel everything to them, but that’s the best direct route.)
In the meantime, can you please link me to a specific level where you are having this issue? I’m trying to replicate it, but with all the different level & lesson types I want to make sure I reply based on looking at the same thing you are.
Thank you!

Thanks for creating a ticket for this. I am working in the new version of web lab in the CS Discoveries Unit 2.
And cannot find a way to give students feedback on the practice lessons or the assessment levels.
For example lesson #2.7 Thanks for your help with this,
Lori Schlueter
Thanks for reporting this issue.
I looked and unfortunately this feature does appear to be missing. (I was hoping it was a case of new-interface-hiding-the-button.)
Hopefully the dev team sees your request (along with everyone else’s) and restores this functionality soon.

Concur! This is a CRITICAL tool for supporting students. I need to be able to leave feedback and tell students to, “Keep Working,” in ALL levels, not just assessment levels. Please also update the documentation. I’ve spent multiple days looking through help docs and interacting with the “Teaching Assistant,” only to receive outdated information. Frustrating.
