Welcome to Code.org! We are thrilled you have joined our community

Hello, my name is Bruno Schilling and I teach students in grades 7 and 8 and kids between 7-17 in my freetime as volunteer. I am mostly interested in teaching coding via tools like scratch (or other block-based formats) and than upgrading to written code like python or js.

I really enjoy the interactivity of code.org. Great Job :+1:

Hi,

  • My name is Melissa.
  • I teach a combined 6th, 7th, & 8th grade class with currently 15 students enrolled.
  • We started the school year with learning how to access and use Google Suite. Second semester, we are going to focus on coding.
  • I’m loving that Code.org has curriculum for me to use! I started the school year with no curriculum and about 2 weeks to come up with lessons for my students. Now that I’ve found Code.org, I can relax a bit and not stress so much regarding lesson planning.

My name is Vicki Pendley and I teach 7/8th grade computer science discovery course. There is limited curriculum provided and the personality of my class loves video games. Most want to be designers or beta testers. I am using code.org to deepen their of understanding and what goes into their games.

Hello everyone,

My name is Lucia and I teach middle and high school students (grades 5–12).

I am most excited about how Code.org makes coding visual, accessible, and fun for students of all levels. I really appreciate the engaging activities, clear structure, and the way it supports both beginners and more advanced learners.

Looking forward to being part of this community and learning from all of you!

My name is Ken, and I’ll be teaching a summer program available for local high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to learn about our computing, security and networking technology program. I’m taking over from a prior faculty member who used a number of code.org course elements, so I’m excited to be able to leverage what’s been done, and, as I learn more about code.org, see how I can expand what we do.
