Hi I’m Erica, and I teach media production grades 9-12. I hope to teach units 1 and 4 of CS Discoveries next year as I feel my students can always use an introduction or refresher on empathy and problem solving to help with just everyday life. I’m excited about changing things up a bit and the possibility of incorporating Code.org in a few of my classes.
Hello! My name is Steve Mikkelson, and I teach grades 9 - 12. I actually teach Game and Simulation classes, and I was looking to expand the Computer Science course offerings at our school. I also found some great resources for my game design classes and intro to programming classes! I am most excited about the engaging activities and lesson plans to get students excited about coding. There are some great activities here for all aspects of computer science to get students interested and help them feel successful.

I am very excited that Code.org is offering free lesson to teachers and students who have just heard about coding but have never had any ideas about it.
